Cedar Point’s
first wing roller
coaster reaches new
heights in many
ways. Located at
the front of the
park, GateKeeper
will take riders over the main entrance and will
forever change the landscape of the Cedar Point
Peninsula. The ride sets three world records for the
tallest drop, longest track and most inversions of
any wing coaster. A state-of-the-art control center
is at the heart of operations and energy-efficient
LED lighting illuminates the trains. Aside from the
screams of excitement, it is one of the quietest roller
coasters ever built because the track is filled with
sand. Using all the latest technology, GateKeeper has
set new standards in the amusement industry.

• 2 minutes and 40 seconds long

The GateKeeper is just one of the many thrills that
Cedar Point has to offer. From roller coasters and
thrill rides to family rides and water rides, there

Dinosaurs Alive! and Camp Snoopy. Before you head
home or to the Breakers Hotel, grab a bite to eat at
Chick-fil-A, Pink’s or Johnny Rockets, and sit back
and enjoy Luminosity, a high-energy performance
featuring music, lights, dance and fireworks.
If you like what you see, come back and enjoy the
spooky chills of Halloween combined with the thrills
of the world’s biggest collection of rides and roller
coasters at HalloWeekends. Or if you just want to sit
by the water all day when it’s 90-plus degrees, Soak
City Waterpark is the place to be. Who knew so much
fun could be had on a little peninsula!
*If tickets are not used within specified dates, they can be upgraded
at the Cedar Point entrance for a surcharge, and can be used any
other day in 2013.
