Back by popular demand, the 2nd annual AAA
Days at Cedar Point! From Saturday, May 11 through
Friday, May 31, 2013, AAA members can enjoy
special savings for Cedar Point. Tickets for this
special event will be $35 and must be purchased at
a AAA Northwest Ohio branch office. Tickets will be
available May 1, 2013. That is a 36 percent savings
just for being a AAA member!

xTRAVELganza $500
Grand PrizeWinner
Congratulations to James and Sally Hamilton,
winners of the $500 Grand Prize at the 2013
xTRAVELganza. James and Sally will be sailing to the
Caribbean this spring on Princess Cruise Line. The
xTRAVELganza Grand Prize is awarded to an individual
who books a vacation valued over $500 per person
at the event. James and Sally were presented with
their check by Patty Hicks (left), Travel Operations
Manager, Cindy Russeau (right), Perrysburg Branch
Manager, Brenda Fulkerson (far right), Perrysburg
BranchTravel Agent; who booked James & Sally’s trip
at xTRAVELganza.
On the chilly afternoon of January 27, 2013,
more than1,000 aspiring travelers visited
the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons for
AAA Northwest Ohio’s annual xTRAVELganza
Travel Show and Marketplace. Hoping for
direction, advice and a good deal, travelers of
all ages listened to various presentations and
inspected the booths of AAA’s Preferred Travel
Suppliers, including our very own Group
Travel, as well as Trafalgar, Holland America,
Disney, Universal, Pleasant Holidays, Travel
Impressions, Princess Cruise Line and so
many more!
Couples planning the perfect honeymoon,
snowbirds looking to flee the sub-freezing
temperatures, families searching for the perfect
vacation spot and anyone else looking to travel
was encouraged to book at the show to take
advantage of additional savings. Discounts
were given to the nearly 60 people who walked
away from the show with their dream vacation
booked and ready to go. Those who booked at
the show are entered into the grand prize
drawing to receive $500 off their vacation!
