Cell phones are a leading cause of distraction in
many of our teen drivers. AAA Northwest Ohio realizes
the importance of safe teen driving and has partnered
with CellFamily to bring you SafeTeen Driver.
SafeTeen Driver is a safety and protection application
(app) that is installed directly to your child’s phone.
The app provides you with tools to protect your child
from cyber bullying, child predators, missing children,
distracted driving, sexting, cell phone abuse and
more. There is no monitoring involved, just safety.
SafeTeen Driver is a positive approach to safety and
ensures the safety of our children frommodern

discretely, and it sends you an emergency text
message containing information about their

emergency is moving, such as if your child is

Safety Patrol Camp
Recently, a group of AAA School
Safety Patrollers attended the
annual Safety Patrol Leadership
Camp at Camp Storer in Jackson,
MI. Students were treated to a
three-day program that included
team building, training, testing and a graduation.
The camp was sponsored by the local Safety
Council and AAA Northwest Ohio.
Congratulations to those who completed the
program and good luck to all our local Patrollers! We
are proud of you and wish you a safe school year.
