• Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, a major attraction where
guests will travel with Ariel and her friends through their exciting adventures above
and below the waves – all against a musical backdrop of songs from the film.
• Belle’s Village - Guests to the village will find the rousing Gaston’s
Tavernand Bonjour! Village Gifts. Just outside the village is Maurice’s cottage
andEnchanted Tales with Belle.The adventure begins in Maurice’s workshop,
where a magical mirror is the doorway to a captivating new kind of storytelling
experience: guests will be transported to the Beast’s library to meet Belle and
Lumiere, and share in a lively, interactive re-telling of the “tale as old as time.”
• Princess Fairytale Hall - This will be the new home for visiting royalty in the
Magic Kingdom® Park.The castle-like entrance will feature walls of stone and stained
glass windows, opening up into a large gallery.When it’s time for their audience with
a princess, guests will proceed to elegantly finished rooms to meet Aurora, Cinderella
and other Disney princesses.
• Dumbo the Flying Elephant - Step right up and celebrate the golden age of
the circus as you enjoy not one…but TWO Dumbo the Flying Elephant® attractions
in the Magic Kingdom® Park! Complete with a big top tent filled with interactive fun
for everyone, this fantastical flight will send you on a magical ride high in the sky
over Storybook Circus in New Fantasyland ®.
• The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini - In the grand tradition of
classic air shows…but one you can actually be part of…get set to twist, turn and fly
high above Storybook Circus aboard The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini!
Run by none other than the Great Goofini himself, this captivating, kid-friendly coaster
takes you on an exciting flight over New Fantasyland® in the Magic Kingdom® Park.

D isney’s Ar t of Animation Resor t opened its doors last summer with four
distinctly designed wings – “Finding Nemo,” “Cars,” “The Lion King,” and
“The Little Mermaid.” Each of four distinctly designed wings celebrates rich
stor ytelling, spirited characters, original sketches and playfulness with colorful
icons and whimsical theming inspired by classic Disney and Disney•Pixar films.
The value-priced resort, which is mainly made up of family suites sleeping six, tells
the story of the animation process in phases from pencil drawings to close-ups. It will
immediately transport guests into the worlds of favorite Disney characters and
animated films beginning at check-in as pixilated patterns and wavy ribbons of bold
colors decorate the resort’s exterior. Pencil drawings of Ariel, Lightning McQueen,
Nemo and Simba adorn the entryway, and a whimsical chandelier composed of 77
animation storyboards enhances the lively and modern Animation Hall lobby.
Kids of all ages can make a splash at the “Big Blue” pool, the largest resort swimming
pool atWalt DisneyWorld® Resort measuring 11,859 square feet. Guests will feel like they
are swimming with Dory and Nemo as underwater speakers periodically pipe in music and
messages from film characters. Guests will enter scenes from the animated world and can
explore the colorful reef and East Australian Current with a giant-sized Mr. Ray whose
wings span 27 feet, pose for a picture with Crush or frolic with Squirt in the Righteous
Reef, a children’s play area. And the character sketches become three dimensional with
some 2,500 sculpted figures decorating the resort’s exterior and interior.
The Pixel Play Arcade, Drop Off pool bar, and Ink and Paint gift shop round out the
offerings. Kids will enjoy the daily character artist in the “Finding Nemo” lobby, and
nighttime movies poolside.There are two additional pools in the “Cars” and “The Lion
King” wings as well.
Those staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are treated to complimentary
