Jessica E. Meyers Chairman, AAA Central Penn
I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. The new year is underway and the possibilities are endless! That is our outlook at AAA Central Penn.
In the midst of the holiday flurry, our team
at AAA Central Penn was working hard to roll out our ambitious and exciting plans for the next three years. We have launched
Chairman’s Message
I made that same resolution. When I first joined AAA Central Penn it was to take advantage of its outstanding roadside assistance, but since I became Chairman, I’ve learned that AAA is so much more. I’ve planned vacations, sought assistance for a variety of needs from member services, and taken advantage of many discounts AAA provides to
its members. All of these services and more are available, and I encourage you take advantage of
all we have to offer.
As my role as Chairman comes to a close in March, I want to express my sincere gratitude to you for the opportunity to lead the AAA Central Penn Board of Directors. It has been a tremendously rewarding experience, and I am very proud of what our
Club has accomplished during my tenure. A new chairman will be taking over in March. I believe
AAA Central Penn will continue to grow, enhance its services, and set new standards for customer service. I am excited about our future!

President’s Message
It is important that they have the appropriate instructions needed to face the responsibility of driving. Good classroom instruction and quality practice time on the road, which is offered at our Driving School located at our Lancaster Estelle Drive office, is critical before they pick up their new driver’s licenses as well as their AAA membership cards.
Distracted driving is a big issue, not singular to teenage drivers. We all need to be reminded that
a glance away from the road can be deadly. Is
the message on your iPad or cell phone really important enough to risk an accident that could
take a life? Changing a radio station, pets riding unprotected in the car, eating and drinking, children needing attention – these are just a few of the distractions we face each day. The cockpit of the car causes many distractions; let’s make a pledge to focus on driving – an accident is only a second away.
The staff and I join in wishing you a safe, healthy and prosperous 2017. We are happy you join us “On the road of life.”

By now most of you have your new year’s resolutions in place, but for those who do not, please consider this addition to your list: “I will get MORE out of my AAA membership.”

As 2016 ends and we start a brand new year, I find myself pausing to reflect
on this past year and thinking about some important items for 2017 and beyond. I’d like to
share some of my thoughts with you.
Safe driving is always atthetopofmylistof important issues, which brings to mind all the new
